যদি একজন শিক্ষার্থী verbal & non-verbal IQ জন্য ভালোভাবে প্রস্তুতি নিতে পারেন, তাহলে তিনি দ্রুত IQ Test পরীক্ষাটি উত্তীর্ণ করতে পারেন, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ শিক্ষার্থীরা PPDT পাশ করতে ব্যর্থ হয়। তাই আজকে আমরা আপনাকে PPDT পাশ করার কিছু Tips দিব। এটি প্রথমবারের মতো যারা অংশগ্রহণ করছেন (fresher) এবং যারা পূর্বেই পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন (repeater) সমস্ত প্রার্থীদের সাহায্য করবে।

এর আগে, আপনাকে পিপিডিটি/PPDT টেস্ট কি এবং কিভাবে কনডাক্ট করা হয় তা জানতে হবে।

Tips to observe PPDT Picture

চিত্রে উল্লেখযোগ্য ব্যক্তির সংখ্যা সনাক্ত করুন এবং যদি আপনি চিত্রে কোনও ভিন্ন/অনন্য বা বিশেষ বৈশিষ্ট্য দেখেন তবে নোট করুন।

Tips to Write a Good Story in PPDT

• আপনাকে ৩০ সেকেন্ডের জন্য একটি ছবি দেওয়া হচ্ছে। সেই সময়টি ব্যবহার করে আপনি গল্পের প্রেক্ষাপটি তৈরি করতে পারেন এবং আপনার নায়ক/নায়িকা কীভাবে সংরক্ষিত থাকবে তা পরিকল্পনা করতে পারেন।
• পিপিডিটিতে চিত্র দেখার পরে, গল্প লেখা শুরু করার আগে 30 সেকেন্ড অতিরিক্ত সময় নিন। আপনার ধারণা এবং থিম সাজান; একটি ক্রম তৈরি করার পরে, আপনি তাদের গল্প রূপে লিখতে শুরু করুন।

• ছবিতে দেখা যাওয়া ব্যক্তিগণ থেকে একজন Hero সৃষ্টি করুন এবং তাকে গল্পের মূল কার্যকারী চরিত্র হিসাবে গঠন করুন।
• আপনার গল্পটি অংশে ভাগ করুন - শুরু, মধ্যবর্তী অংশ এবং শেষ, এবং সমস্ত চরিত্রগুলির সমানভাবে গল্পের মাধ্যমে ব্যবহার করুন।

• এখন গল্প লেখার মূল কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, যেখানে নিম্নলিখিত বিষয়গুলি বর্ণনা করবে

1. চরিত্রদ্বয়ের সংখ্যা;
2. তাদের বয়স এবং লিঙ্গ;
3. মনের অবস্থা;
4. সম্ভবতঃ ঘটে গেছে কী;
5. বর্তমানে কী ঘটছে;
6. ভবিষ্যতে কী করণীয় করা হবে;
7. চূড়ান্ত ফলাফল।

• গল্পটি সংক্ষিপ্ত, অর্থপূর্ণ, স্পষ্ট এবং সম্পূর্ণতা প্রাপ্ত হোক, যাতে গল্পটি অতীত, বর্তমান এবং ভবিষ্যতের সমস্ত বিষয় পরিষ্কারভাবে প্রকাশ করে।

• মেমোরাইজড গল্প লিখবেন না / Do not write memorized stories or always relate it to defence. Be you and be spontaneous.
• একটি যুক্তিসঙ্গত এবং বাস্তবসম্মত গল্প লিখবেন এবং অবাস্তবিক কিছু লিখবেন না।

• যত সম্ভব বেশি অনুশীলন করুন। গল্প লেখা এবং অনুশীলনের জন্য এই ছবিগুলি ব্যবহার করুন।

Tips to stand in Group Discussion

সাধারণতই candidate দের মধ্যে একটি ধারণা রয়েছে যে গ্রুপ আলোচনার সময় আপনি dominant এবং aggressive  হয়ে কথা বললে তবেই Group Discussion এ পাশ করতে পারবেন। কিন্তু, এটি ভুল ধারনা।  নীচে উল্লেখ করা কিছু tips অনুসরণ করলে গ্রুপ আলোচনায় ভালো করতে পারবেন।

আপনাকে Group Discussion এর জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিতে হবে না, যদি আপনি নির্দিষ্ট কিছু বিষয় মনে রাখেন এবং তারপরে নিজেকে সুন্দরভাবে উপস্থাপন করেন।

Try to take care of this things-

• আত্মবিশ্বাসের সাথে কথা বলুন।
• একটি স্পষ্ট ও দৃঢ় কণ্ঠ রাখুন।
• উচ্চস্বরে কথা বলুন যাতে সহজেই সবাই আপনার কথা শুনতে পায়, নাহলে কেউ শুনবেন না।
• অত্যাধিক জোরে কথা বলবেন না।
• যখন আপনি কথা বলছেন, সম্পূর্ণ গ্রুপের সদস্যদের সাথে খুব ভাল চোখ রেখে কথা বলুন।
• কথা বলছেন ব্যক্তির সাথে ভাল চোখ যোগ করুন।
• সমান ভাবে সম্মান, ভদ্রতা ও ধৈর্য ধরে সকলের কথা শুনুন।
• আলোচনা চলছে সেসময় আপনার পা এবং হাত ঠিক আকারে রাখুন।
• আপনি যদি কারো মতামত সম্পর্কে ভিন্ন মন্তব্য করেন, তবে ভদ্র ভাবে ব্যক্ত করুন।
• আপনি যখন সেই কক্ষে প্রবেশ করেন তখন থেকে উঠে পর্যন্ত, আপনাকে প্রতিটা মুহূর্তে র্যবেক্ষণ করা হচ্ছে, তাই সতর্ক থাকবেন।

1. Be Confident.
2. Have a Bold voice.
3. Speak Loudly otherwise  no one is going to listen to you.
   
4. Don’t be too loud.
5. Don’t speak unnecessary points or ideas, it will just do negatives to your image.
   
6. Make very good eye contact with every group member when you are speaking.
7. Make very good eye contact with the person who is speaking.
8. Listen to everyone with equal politeness and respect.
9. Maintain good body language.
10. If you observe someone who is not being given the chance to speak, make a point to the group to give that chest number a chance to speak.
11. keep your legs and hand at a very good posture while the discussion is going on.
12. Don’t try to sneak on what the testing officers are doing or who they are looking at.
13. Try to be on track and not lose your focus or go off-topic.
14. Be polite if you differ from someone else in your perception.
15. The moment you enter that room to the moment you get up and go out, you are very very thoroughly being observed, so take care of the slightest of the movements you make

Things to Follow in PPDT in ISSB

• বিভিন্ন বইয়ে পড়া গল্প লিখবেন না। এই ধরণের গল্পগুলি ছবির সাথে সম্পর্কিত নয় এবং অকৃতিমতা বহন করে। টেস্টিং অফিসার খুব দ্রুত বিষয়টি বুঝতে পারবেন। 
• PPDT এ অসম্ভব গল্প লিখবেন না, like a person practising for school tournaments suddenly wins the Olympics later.
• অনেকের মধ্যে এমন ধারণা আছে যে যদি তারা ভাল গল্প লিখেন তাহলে selected হবে। এটি ভুল ধারণা। টেস্টিং অফিসার প্রাপ্ত ছবির ভিত্তিতেই candidate কে পরীক্ষা করেন। যদি চিত্রটি নেতিবাচক গুণাবলী চিত্রিত করে তবে টেস্টিং অফিসার এটা উদ্দেশ্যপূর্ণভাবে করেছেন।
• লেখায় একটি যুক্তিসঙ্গত বিন্যাস অনুসরণ করা কারন এটি সংগঠনশীল দক্ষতা (Organizing ability) প্রদর্শন করবে।
• Ensure that whatever you write in PPDT should be neat, legible, and without any cuts or mistakes. It shows the clarity of thoughts.

• Listen to the instructions the Testing Officers give.
•  In the Picture Perception test, it is highly recommended to pay attention and follow the instructions accordingly.

Mistakes to avoid in the PPDT

There are some common mistakes that candidates make during the PPDT that lead to their rejection at times. Here are some common mistakes to avoid in PPDT.

• Do not watch a movie before the test, as it can fill your mind with a variety of thoughts and can confuse you altogether.
• Try to have a fresh new perspective on the ideas and develop your story accordingly rather than a predetermined and common narrative.
• Do not underestimate your central character. In order to plot a theme around it, you need to introduce and use your central character effectively.
• Do not write a wishful story, the same old tit-for-tat or rags-to-riches one. This is a very common idea and can turn your opportunity down.
• Always try to write the outcome of the story, keep it subtle and not overly achiever type, which would sound too good to be true.
• Do not be too quiet or too loud during the group discussion. Make yourself noticed but avoid being aggressive or rude.
• Always try to showcase a positive and helpful mindset while narrating your story. The views you convey speaks volume about your social attitude and the responsibilities to the people in the society.
• Do not narrate any unnecessary and pessimistic idea that is not even in the picture, such as any mishap in a marketplace.
• Do not lose your theme while conveying your story. The outcome and the idea must be presented at the end with a strong cause and effect.
• Respect the time limit given to you and let others also get a chance to speak. This would reflect your level of perseverance and respect towards fellow members.
